We’ve used Google Business mail for 20 years and most of my clients use it as well. Having your business on your own domain and not use a free gmail, yahoo or outlook address is much more professional. Google services are amazing. But, their pricing has slowly increased over the years from free when we first signed up, to my current small business plan costing me $20/mth.

Also, there are now major security concerns as well as censorship occurring. One nutritionist we built a website for last year recently had their google business listing and email shut down. Fortunately she was only on a monthly account and not an annual contract, which apparently doesn’t provide for refunds to ‘bad users’ selling ‘bad things’.
